In July 2023, New Hampshire was awarded a $44 million grant to develop the burgeoning biofabrication cluster in Manchester. The grant money for the state\u2019s ReGen Valley Tech Hub was part of the $504 million fund the U.S. Department of Commerce\u2019s Economic Development Administration announced for 12 regions in the country. The biofab cluster, which is comprised of a consortium of more than 40 organizations, is focused on developing and manufacturing regenerative tissues and organs. The hub is expected to create more than 9,000 new jobs in the coming years. \u201cThe fact that New Hampshire is the only state in New England to be judged by the federal government as worthy of a tech hub award speaks volumes about our tech-based economy.
