The Bay State continues to grow as a global hub for innovation and investment. Moderna has started to build out the manufacturing facility acquired in Marlborough last year to scale up a neoantigen therapy program for multiple cancers. The $322 million, 200,000-square-foot expansion is expected to create at least 200 new jobs. Last summer, local developer King Street Properties also completed a $170 million life sciences project in Cambridge with 160,000 square feet of office and laboratory space. Companies in other sectors are also eyeing new investments in Massachusetts. For example, Amazon recently opened its largest facility in the state in North Andover. Enacted in March 2024, the Mass Leads Act is an economic development bond bill that will strengthen the state\u2019s global leadership in life sciences and launch
