While the \u201creciprocal tariffs,\u201d after the pause, may vary country to country depending on new trade agreements, the magnitude of the tariffs means that their footprint may grow past the U.S. supply chain and spillover to impact every industry from financial institutions, to hospitality and entertainment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Four steps for immediate action:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set up a \u201ctariff war room\u201d: Understand all ways in which you are impacted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liquidity management: Focus on cash preservation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cNo regret\u201d levers: Optimize existing supply chain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pricing to market situation: Execute effective pricing strategy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AlixPartners has experience advising companies on tackling supply chain tariff issues, both short and long term, including through strategies like FTZ, first sale programs, and manufacturing network optimization, and in navigating pricing strategies during a changing macroeconomic outlook.
